NorthWoods Poultry does not refund, exchange, credit, or offer discounts from purchases in partial or whole and assumes no responsibility or liability once the customer or shipping courier takes custody of the eggs. If shipped, all claims made due to, but not limited to, delays (weather, mechanical, etc.), damages, broken or cracked eggs, lost packages, stolen goods, negligence, damaged packaging, lack of development, detached air cells, or other factors not listed should be handled directly with the carrier.

HATCHING EGGS ARE A GAMBLE. I DO NOT GUARANTEE HATCH RATES.
- Shipping is HARD on eggs. It can cause disruptions at the cellular level. I hatch from the same eggs I send to people. My hatch rate is over 90%. You don’t complain to a casino that you want your money back due to a bad hand at blackjack. If you cannot accept you may have a 0% hatch rate, please buy elsewhere.
- You cannot tell if the egg was fertilized after incubation as the process alters the blastoderm. Fluctuating temperatures, humidity, shipping, excessive handling, incubation methods, etc. can affect hatch rates. I can’t control this. This can also be a reason for early deaths during incubation.
- Allow for 1-3 days to collect. Extras are not guaranteed.
- Payment is not due until your eggs are ready to ship.
- Refunds are only issued if eggs haven’t been shipped.
- I’m not responsible for packages left outside in extreme weather conditions. Check temps in advance.
- I can ship USPS or UPS but my default is USPS. I will try to get you the best possible rate and ship time.
- USPS: Specify if you want the package delivered or held for pick up. I will mark the package as best as possible, but I can’t control if the PO doesn’t do as instructed.
- UPS: Will deliver directly to your home. Please include any drop-off instructions if needed. However, I can’t control if UPS does not do as instructed.
- I cannot guarantee deformities will not appear in later generations. Thank you for taking the time to read this policy. I operate on a first come, first serve basis. I can give you an idea when to expect your eggs based on the number of orders ahead of you.
