Before you purchase baby chicks, please contact us in 3-4 weeks advance of your desired pick up date to make sure we have availability of the breed and quantity you'd like along with incubator space. This allows us time to collect and incubate the eggs.
       We try to plan on hatching on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays as it's a less busy time for us during the week. This allows for an extra day or two for late hatching, for chicks to dry off, rest, and gain some strength and footing before they are off to their new home. We cannot make special accommodations around hatch days as we are at the mercy of the weather and our hens' laying schedule.

Chick Purchase Agreement

• Payment is required IN FULL prior to placing eggs in the incubator. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS after the eggs are in the incubator. 
  • We do not accept personal checks.
  • Payment methods accepted are cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
• All chicks are sold STRAIGHT RUN (unsexed).
  • We do not carry large amounts of auto-sexing breeds nor do we keep them on hand to raise them specifically, they are usually present as hens with egg colors or traits need for a specific breeding program.
  • Whatever your order size, assume that 50% will be roosters and 50% hens.
• We do NOT TAKE BACK ROOSTERS or any other birds once they have left the property. This is mainly due to our bio-security and NPIP flock status. Unwanted birds can be sold, re-homed, or processed for meat.
  • If possible, we suggest growing roosters out until a min. age of 4 months to max. age of 10 months to process for meat.
